Just wanted to write a bit to give myself somewhere to get my thoughts out i guess. I've been studying the fae and Faerie myth and lore for a while now and the more I read the more I fall in love with it. It's so much like what I've seen in my imagination when I think about a perfect world. I don't know why, maybe I'm just weird or something, but since I was very young I've had a longing to spend my life in the forest, to live amongst mythical creatures such as the fae, though I didn't know what they were called back then. I have had this calling in my heart so strong that some nights in my childhood I cried myself to sleep, thinking of a far off place I would never be able to reach. Reading about the Faeries and their legends and those who have seen them, I feel like maybe my world isn't so far off after all. Maybe I'll never see a faerie for myself, but I find myself obsessed and relating to them in so many ways. Just food for thought. Please don't comment if you think I'm just stupid.
